ideas for wardrobe

ive just found this picture when i was researching different styles for each decade. the pictures arent very good, but we could use this sort of layout for our interactive scroll for the wardrobe

Joseph Nicéphore Niépce-1826

hey just found this picture while ive been researching the timeline. its the 1st picture that was ever taken. it took 8 hours of exposure!

gantt chart

hey everyone! ive done the presentation. its all finished apart from the bit about the gantt chart. anybody any ideas about it?

i think those pics of kate look really good! the dress looks nice that colour too.

Kate in Paris!

here is my first edit(s) of Kate. Click em to see them in more detail! I used 4 of the shots of her in the same dress, and cropped a photo of the eiffel tower, lined it up 4 times, and put a 'different kate' on each image. Also obviously i changed the colour of her dress/lips/hair to make her stand out more.

this was actually inspired by a picture on the wall in The Original Oak (haha who says going to the pub isnt educational??) where there are 4 shots of the eiffel tower, in different states of construction, in a row.

This is all i've managed to do in the past few days as theres been a lot going on (carbon monoxide in my house so we had to EVACUATE & emergency people came. seriously. it's always me isn't it!) but i guess it is technically 4 edits in one, & il do more the rest of the weekend.

see you guys tomorrow for funtimes!

more editing

heyhey, just done a bit more editing on one of the photos. cant decide which is best betewen these two so il decide later on...so just thought id post both. xxx

Inspiration

Hey guys me again,
i found these really inspirational photographs from Dior and Prada, i love the style of combining drawings and art work with the photos so goin to try do some similar for our gallery. I think its really imaganative that hes used faries and nymphs as his influence for these bags it gives an enchanted and magical look!

Eye whitener

Hey chick
To lighten the eyes in photographs you select a box round the eyes and paste them into a new layer and label it eyes. Then you select the dodge and burn tool shown below to paint the highlights of the eye and teeth etc. It will appear too bright at first so turn down the oppacity level.

Ps i cant seeem to be able to do that thing where u put a mask layer blur the photo then select the paint brush to deselect the blur on the focal image can neone help?

I want to be a hippy but i forgot how to love!

Another edited pic!
this one took about 4 times as long as the last and i don't like it half as much, which is typical. bah.

the words 'i want to be a hippy but i forgot how to love' is a line from a Moldy Peaches song that i had stuck in my head all day so i pretty much wrote them down to try and get them out, but then it gave me inspiration to create an image about an isolated hippy, sat away from the rest of the hippy camp/commune/whatever.

The background is made up of about 15 pictures of skies, clouds, hills, daisies, hammocks, vans, flags etc.

so yeah. i'm not keen on it but may as well post it as development or what have you. next i'm gonna do one of kate's awesome 'perfume advert' ones.

click on it to see it big & all the detail!

1950s paradise!

today was so much fun in the blue room, i felt like i was 7 and playing dress up D
i got a bit bored before and started some silly playing around with one of the 1950s style pictures, and created a photo montage style collage for the background of one of the photos alice posted in the post before this one.

I created the scene using a photo of a cadillac, a photo of the sky, a diner sign, and a picture of route 66, i chopped bits out, changed all the levels so the colours with similar, and pasted everything together to create a scene! quite simple but i think it looks pretty effective.

let me know what you think!

Our first photo shoot

hey Girlies
today me Becka and Kate took some photos in the blue room. Here are just a few ones to show you but il emails them to u or il try get them printed out this weekend! They need a lot of photoshop work doing to them so we can start touching up and adding graphics next week! We found today we needed more time in the blue room so hopefully well be able to book a full day soon! Goin to try get some more costumes from my sisters shows i.e. 1920s dress and what ever i can find! so lets try bring as much as we can for monday xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
